Who we are

DailyLingua is a daily language-learning app offering short lessons in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Arabic with Persian translations.

What we collect

  • Profile details you enter (name, email, country, current level). These are stored in your browser to personalise your experience.
  • Account data — if you create an account, we store your email address and an anonymous user identifier.
  • Learning data — favourites, XP, streaks and adventure progress, linked to your user identifier.
  • Payment data — subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we only keep your subscription status and renewal date.

How we use it

To deliver daily lessons, remember your language and level, sync your favourites and progress, and manage your free trial and subscription. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Local storage and offline use

The app installs as a Progressive Web App and caches lesson content in your browser so it works offline. Clearing your browser data removes this cache and your locally stored profile.

Third-party services

We use Supabase for authentication and database storage, Stripe for payments, and an AI provider to generate daily lesson text. Lesson generation prompts do not include your personal information.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your learning data from our database.

To request account deletion, visit Delete your account.
